Drawings of birds and dinosaurs dating back to thousands of years have been found from the Kurulangala rock near the Uma Oya project on Ella-Wellawaya road, says head of Ravana Putra organization Gayan S. Vithanagamage.
He has told the media that the pictures had been drawn using blood or similar matter.
According to him, determining the age of these drawings could shed light on many important events in history.
He said he believed that this was evidence that our ancesters had seen dinosaurs, who had lived in the island.
These drawings, originally in a 30 feet area, are now facing ruin, and only a six feet area remains, he said.
