UPFA Parliamentarian Wasudeva Nanayakkara yesterday lodged a complaint with the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption against former President Chandrika Bandaranaike Kumaratunga.
Nanayakkara, in his complaint, said that no measure has been taken in accordance with the Supreme Court order delivered seven years ago against former President Chandrika Kumarathunga's deal over the handing over of profitable state-run marine bunkering unit and the 10 acre land in the Colombo Port to the John Keels Group.
He made a complaint before the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) yesterday morning in connection with the same incident.
He said the commission had not taken any action over the matter although Supreme Court had decided that the transaction was flawed and illegal. He added that he made the complaint since no measure has been taken against athough seven years has lapsed following the Supreme Court order.
